Proper and safe operation is very important when using a riveting press. Below are some steps for proper and safe use of a riveting press:
1. Wear PPE: Before operating the riveting press, make sure you wear proper PPE including safety glasses, gloves and earplugs.
2. CHECK THE WORKING CONDITION OF THE PRESS RIVET MACHINE: Before using the riveter, make sure it is in good working condition. Check the power cord, air supply line and lubrication system of the riveter to make sure they are in good working condition.
3. Familiarize yourself with the instruction manual of the riveting machine: Read and understand the instruction manual of the riveting machine carefully, and follow the operation steps in the manual.
4. Select the right rivet head and rivet: Select the right rivet head and rivet according to the need. Make sure the size and specification of the rivet head and rivet match the job requirements.
5. ADJUST PRESSURE AND SPEED OF PRESS RIVET MACHINE: Adjust the pressure and speed of the riveter according to the job requirements. Excessive pressure and speed may cause the rivet head to break or the rivet to come loose.
6. Ensure Workpiece Stability: Before riveting, make sure the workpiece is securely fastened to the table to prevent movement or tilting.
7. Keep hands at a safe distance: Keep hands away from the rivet head and workpiece when operating the riveter to prevent accidental injury.
8. Observe and listen for warnings: When using the riveting press, closely observe the condition of the riveting head and workpiece. If abnormal conditions are found, such as unusual noise or jammed rivet head, stop operation and check immediately.
9. Regular maintenance and servicing: Clean and lubricate the riveting machine regularly and replace worn parts as needed. This helps to keep the riveting press in proper working condition.
